Assam: Northeast Frontier Railway to resume short-distance trains from February 18
GUWAHATI:
The Northeast Frontier Railway will resume short-distance special trains from February 18, 2021, besides the long-distance trains currently in operation.
The New Tinsukia-Rangiya Express Special will run four days a week–Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from February 20, 2021, leaving from New Tinsukia 6:10 am and reaching Rangiya at 7:45 pm.
In the return direction, the Rangiya-New Tinsukia Express Special will run four days a week–Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from February 22, 2021, leaving from Rangiya at 5:30 am and reaching New Tinsukia at 8:50 pm.
The Rangiya-Ledo Express Special will run three days a week–on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from February 21, 2021, leaving from Rangiya at 5:30 am and reaching Ledo at 9:40 pm.
In the return direction, the Ledo-Rangiya Express Special will run three days a week–on Monday, Thursday and Friday from February 22, 2021, leaving Ledo at 5 am and reaching Rangiya at 7:45 pm.
The Lumding-Tinsukia Express Special will run every day from February 19, 2021, leaving Lumding at 7:30 am and reaching Tinsukia at 7 pm.
In the return direction, the Tinsukia-Lumding Express Special will run every day from February 18, 2021, leaving from Tinsukia at 7:15 am and reaching Lumding at 7:10 pm.
The Guwahati-Dibrugarh Town Express Special will run every day from February 18, 2021, leaving Guwahati at 8:40 pm and reaching Dibrugarh Town at 10:40 am next day.
In the return direction, the Dibrugarh Town-Guwahati Express Special will run every day from February 19, 2021, leaving Dibrugarh at 1:40 pm and reaching Guwahati at 4:00 am next day.
Likewise, the Siliguri Jn-Dhubri DEMU Special will run every day from February 22, 2021, leaving Siliguri at 5 am and reaching Dhubri at noon and then leaving Dhubri at 12:15 pm to reach Siliguri Junction at 9:55 pm.
