Assam: Fire breaks out at Guwahati mall

GUWAHATI:

A fire broke out at a bar-cum-restaurant of the Central Mall in Christian Basti on Monday morning.

At least four fire tenders were engaged in the operations to douse the blaze.

The fire probably originated from the kitchen of the Underdoggs Sports Bar & Grill because of an electrical short circuit, sources said.

According to reports, the fire caused massive property damage.

No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
