Assam Down Town university organises TIDE 2.0 IDEATHON in Guwahati

GUWAHATI:

The Assam Down Town University, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta Innovation Park, organised the TIDE 2.0 IDEATHON in Guwahati on March 23 and 24.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, the event aimed to promote tech startups from Assam and the Northeastern region.

Prabir Kumar Das, a scientist from the Software Technology Park of India, inaugurated the event.

Around 28 groups from across the Northeast took part in the event, out of which 14 groups were shortlisted for the final pitch presentation in Guwahati.

After the finals, the jury picked three startups as the winners of the contest.

Curobotic, led by Manzoor Raziq Ahmed, bagged the first prize, Riyum, led by Ricky Yumlembam, was adjudged the first runner-up and Unisenze, led by Sumit Baruah, bagged the second runner-up.
