Assam: DHSK College conducts cleanliness drive in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH:

Dibrugarh Hanumanbax Surajmall Kanoi (DHSK) College conducted a cleanliness campaign in various towns under the Dibrugarh district on February 21.

DHSK undertook the campaign in association with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change and Assam Science Technology & Environment Council.

The cleanliness drive covered places such as Chowkidinghee, Naliapool, Borboruah, Nearby areas of TV Centre among other places.

Swachh Bharat Mission, Assam (Namaste) state brand ambassador and principal of DHSK College, Dr Sashi Kanta Saikia, Joint Coordinator of Environment cell of the college Alakananda Baruah, Ranjan Changmai, Dinalisha Bora and the students of the college took part in the cleanliness programme.

The teachers and the students also delivered information and knowledge on environmental issues and suggested the cleanliness of the surrounding.
