Assam: Two Mizo students of Assam Down Town University found dead on the outskirts of Guwahati

May 28, 2017: In what may be termed as an unfortunate incident, two students of  Assam Down Town University were found dead along a railway track at Panikhaiti on the outskirts of the Guwahati city.

The victims were identified to be R Lalnalsawma and C Lalmangmai Changa of Mizoram, who were studying two years Diploma course in the University.

Police and local people believed that the boys might have struck to death by train.

"The dead bodies were found near the tracks. Train might have struck them," a local person said. Police have begun investigations into the case.
