Assam: Student attacked by 2 leopards in Guwahati

GUWAHATI | December 7, 2019:

In a case of man-animal conflict, a student from Assam Engineering College was brutally attacked by two full grown leopards inside the college campus on Friday evening.

The student is currently pursuing his 3rd semester in Civil Engineering department and he is staying in a hostel in Jalukbari, Debabrat Chutia in Assam.

According to local media reports, the student went for evening walk in that area as of daily routine. While completing the first lap, the leopards lashed on him and scratched him on forearms and his chest. When he tried to resist they scratched his face near his mouth.

Hearing his screams, the locals rescued him, and immediately rushed to the Govt Ayurvedic College. According to a student there were two leopards in which one was killed by the locals, and the area in which he was attacked was completely dark.
