Assam: Medical student from Guwahati drowns in Ukraine

GUWAHATI | June 11, 2019:
In an unfortunate incident, a medical student from Assam drowned in Ukraine on Monday.

The medical student identified as Nikumoni Kakoti, hailed from Ganeshguri area in Guwahati. He was a second-semester student of a medical college in Ukraine and the only child of Dhiren Kakoti and Deepanjali Kakoti.

According to media reports, his parents said that Nikumoni was supposed to visit his hometown on June 12, 2019.
