Assam: Man from Jorhat found dead in Maharashtra

GUWAHATI | June 11, 2019:

A body of a man hailing from Assam has been found in Maharashtra under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjib Dutta, hailing from Assam's
Bhogamukh's Lahowal Bhitorual in Jorhat.

According to reports, on June 4, Dutta had left for Gujarat in search of a job with an acquaintance. Later, the duo moved to Maharashtra and stayed in a rented room. On the day of shifting, Dutta's acquaintance informed the former's family members about him missing.

The incident occurred 12 kms from Waliv Police station in Palghar district.

On June 8, Dutta's acquaintance had filed a missing complaint with Walive Police station.

The deceased's family members have contacted Walib police to bring his body to perform the last rites.
