Assam | 6 shops including pharmacy looted in Jorhat

GUWAHATI | January 27, 2019:
In a case of robbery, around six shops including a pharmacy were looted at around 3am by a gang of burglars. The incident took place in Jorhat between Na-Ali Rail gate to Na-Ali Bongal Pukhuri in Assam.
It was reported that a huge amount of cash and valuable items were looted from the shop.
On Monday, four members of the gang were arrested and later sent to Jorhat Central jail on Wednesday by the Jorhat police.
A member of Lichubari Bazar Committee, Pradip Sharma,
expressing concern about their safety and security said that the locals have complained against the slow investigation by the Lichubari Outpost in-charge.
