Assam: 15-yr-old thrashed for posting pro-Pakistan comment on social media

The state of Assam has been witnessing various reported cases of arrests pertaining to people, mostly youths posting pro Pakistan comments on social media following the horrific terror attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Feb 14 that claimed the lives of more than 45 CRPF jawans.

In yet another instance pertaining to this, a 15-year-old boy was allegedly thrashed by members of students' organisation and locals in Rupohihat, Assam on Thursday, February 21.

He had posted 'Pakistan Zindabad' on Facebook and was then beaten by an angry mob which slapped him and made him hold his ears.

Further, following such incidents, the Assam police arrested three youths on charges of sedition including the boy from Tinsukia.
