Arunachal to conduct state civil service exam on November 1

ITANAGAR | SEPT 06, 2020:

The Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh A.R Talwade (IAS), on September 5 informed that the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) preliminary will be conducted on November 1, 2020.

As per the press release, the exam for General Studies will be allotted two hours from 9 am-11 am, while the Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT) will be from 1 pm-3 pm, the same day.

The exams are said to be conducted, with proper adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines, with seating arrangements to be allowed only one per desk with six meters distance from each candidate to ensure social distancing.

Every centre will have installed jammers, CCTV cameras and hand sanitizers that are sensor-based(contactless) at every entry gates.

A total of 26,910 candidates will be appearing, for this year's state-civil service in 17 centres in various districts of the state.

The Commission also mentioned that the mains(written) exam will be conducted next year in February 2021.
