ITANAGAR | FEB 20, 2020:
In an unfortunate incident, at least six people were killed and few others received injuries after a Santro car collided with a loaded vehicle parked on the road at Joypure Habi village under Namsai police station on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place between Chongkham and Namsai area in Namsai district where a Santro car where the victims were travelling met with an accident.
According to the reports, the people belong to a tea tribe were returning from a marriage party towards their home to Chesing Wingko village when it hit a stationary pick-up truck killing at least four people including two minors on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries at the Hospital.
The other injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital.
A police official of Namsai district said that the driver of the Santro car is still missing.
