Arunachal Pradesh | DTF stresses on launching Mission Indradhanush & IPPI

ITANAGAR | October 15, 2018:

On Saturday, in a meeting of the West Siang district task force held at General Hospital Aalo had stressed on launching the Mission Indradhanush and IPPI all over the district in letter and spirit to achieve 90 percent coverage of immunization in the district by December this year.

Official sources had informed that from  October 22 to December 22, the mission will locate all un-vaccinated pregnant mothers and children in various parts within the state.

Circle Officer (CO) Binti Mibang said that doctors should give adequate coverage of vaccination to children and mothers as per set target by the Centre with administrative officers, PRIs and ASHA workers.

District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Nyage Geyi had asked all doctors in CHCs, PHCs and sub centers to keep an eye on micro plans for better performances.

He added that the underutilized staffs should be put to work in urban areas and had asked the doctors to report non-performing ASHAs for termination.
