Student union distributes relief materials to seven families in Arunachal Pradesh

The Adi Students’ Union (AdiSU), Siang District Unit, distributed relief materials to seven families at Bingung village in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

The team, led by AdiSU president Tanibar Tatak and general secretary Johny Gammi walked to the village, which is about 4.5 kilometres from Molom village from where there is no motorable road.

According to the AdiSU, the seven families had lost almost everything in a severe fire on January 7.

The relief materials included rice, utensils, carpets and winter wear and blankets.

“The seven houses were completely gutted, and people in those villages with bottleneck communication needed our help, so we reached out to them and offered relief materials,” the AdiSU stated.
