ITANAGAR:

The Sainik School in East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh will coach 30 students from different villages for the upcoming entrance examination.

The exam is considered one the toughest in the country, as getting through is a gateway to the National Defence Academy (NDA).

Students from different districts were selected, and school authorities organised a meeting with the parents on January 24 to brief them about the unique initiative.

Officers from the Indian Army, Indain Navy and the Indian Air Force (IAF) also held one-on-one sessions with the parents and offered suggestions on how they can help their children become fit and serve the nation by joining the Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, Pasighat MLA Ninong Ering, who sponsored the coaching, urged the parents to give their children the necessary support.

The unique Super 30 coaching will help the underprivileged students from the state with grounding and training for admissions to one of the best schools in the country.

The MLA also informed that coaching students for free will subsequently pave the way for other students to take up an interest in the educational initiative.
