Rijiju seeks funds for sports, border roads in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR:

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju on February 18, met Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss various issues related to sports and infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh.

“Met FM Smt @nsitharaman Ji and discuss about issues related to sports development and infrastructures under AYUSH Ministry. Also thanked her for the huge funding for border infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh and other border areas under the guidance of PM,” tweeted Rijiju after the meeting.

It may be mentioned that roads across the state of Arunachal is undergoing a revamping process under the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH), including Itanagar.
