Modi Welfare Society (MWS) celebrates 62nd foundation day in Pasighat

Established in 1969, The Modi Welfare Society (MWS) celebrated its 62nd foundation day in Pasighat on January 6.
To mark the event, a formal programme was organized during which the second edition of the book “Genealogy of Modi Clan” was also released by Akin Modi, chief advisor of MWS.
Speaking at the function, Akin Modi appreciated the dedication and sincere efforts of MWS Genealogy book publication Chairman, Sonyung Modi, who is currently serving the state government under the capacity of Deputy Director in the Trade & Commerce Department.
He also advised the younger generation to insulate the spirit of all-round development and work towards the upliftment of the society.
During the programme, Sonyung Modi informed that Genealogy book will be helpful and beneficial to the younger generations.
The book will help them to know their lineage in the future, and enlighten the future generations about the great family.
