Emphasising the idea of “Vocal for local”, the students of Government Secondary School Deed Lower Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh, will wear traditional attires in the school premises every Monday for classes.

Speaking of the motive, GSS Deed Headmaster Neelam Obi said that “Vocal for local” means not only to buy local products but to be vocal about promoting them proudly in the same capacity.

Obi said that it would be a regular affair from this current session.

“The students of my school were excited while exposing their traditional attires in the school assembly,” Obi added.

Meanwhile, the teachers from other states who are posted at the school too were excited to wear traditional attires of their states as a kind gesture of traditional and cultural exchanges.
