Arunachal Pradesh: Webinar held on Innovation and Agri-entrepreneurship programme at Pasighat

College of Horticulture and Forestry RKVY -RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubator, Pasighat hosted a Webinar through ZOOM platform to sensitise and create awareness about the opportunity for innovators and agribusiness startups.

41 participants from various parts of Arunachal Pradesh and North-East Region took part in the webinar out of 85 registered respondents.

Chief Guest, Dr B.N. Hazarika, Dean of College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat expressed his happiness to be running such a wonderful project that will be of significant benefit for the region. He encouraged all young aspiring entrepreneurs to grab most out of the webinar and the project.

Dr A.S. Mailappa, PI CEO of the project gave a lecture on the details about Innovation and Agri-entrepreneurship programme under RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme. He highlighted the scope and the vast opportunity in Agri-Horti and allied sectors in the region.

Evie Koyu, Assistant Manager of CHF RABI Project, highlighted on the step-by-step procedure to apply for the programme. She emphasised about having a sound business plan with compulsory innovative factor to get through from various levels of screening to finally be eligible to get the grant-in-aid up to Rs 5 lakhs for AOP and Rs 25 lakhs for SSF.

Registered Participants will be given continuous guidance from the incubator till the 31 October and even beyond for all kinds of queries. The last date for applying for the two programmes is on 31 October. To apply visit website: www.chfcau.org.in.
