Arunachal Pradesh receives COVID-19 Vaccines

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh, on Thursday, received 32,000 units of COVID-19 vaccines for the immunisation drive scheduled for January 16.

“32000 doses of COVID vaccine received today morning are being dispatched to designated vaccine stores across Arunachal Pradesh. State health department is fully geared for the world’s largest vaccination drive to begin from 16th January. Thank you Honble PM Shri @narendramodiji,” tweeted Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

The Union Health Ministry earlier said that the COVID-19 vaccination would be voluntary.

Meanwhile, the vaccination cost for all healthcare and frontline workers would be taken up by the central government.
