ITANAGAR: The locals of Arunachal Pradesh have expressed disappointment over the "inability" of the authorities to repair the damaged road leading to Ganga lake (Geykar Sinyik) and the State Biological Park (Zoo) in Itanagar.

Both locals and visitors lamented on the hardships faced due to pathetic road conditions while visiting the places.

"Although the roads are repaired from time to time, they would wear out in a few months," one of the locals said.

The population in the sector is said to be about 8000.

The pitiable road condition also obstructs the flow of tourists to these places, the local added.

Meanwhile, they have requested the government to repair the roads at the earliest.
