Arunachal Pradesh: Indian Army honours Sino-India war hero at Bum La

ITANAGAR:

The Indian Army constructed a war memorial ceremony to Joginder Singh and his comrades who sacrificed in the 1962 war at Bum La on October 23.

Mrs Kulwant Kaur, the proud daughter of Sub Joginder Singh, inaugurated the War Memorial in the presence of Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.

Joginder Singh of the First Battalion of the Sikh Regiment to receive the highest gallantry award, PARAM VIR CHAKRA in the Eastern Theatre during the 1962 Sino- India War.
