Arunachal MLA Ninong Ering seeks Centre's help to develop state’s eco-tourism

The MLA of Pasighat West Constituency and former Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering, met the Union Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Giriraj Singh in New Delhi on February 16 to discuss about the potential of eco-tourism and poultry rearing in Mirem village.

During the meeting, Ering highlighted the tremendous potential Arunachal Pradesh has for eco-tourism development, yak rearing and fish farming.

“I want to apprise you about the tremendous potential of villages in Arunachal Pradesh regarding fish farming associated with eco-tourism development. I firmly believe that North East India can grow on the pillars of 3Cs (Culture, Commerce and Connectivity)”, Ering wrote in his request to Giriraj Singh.

The MLA mentioned that the development of eco-tourism in the state will help in restructuring the economy and provide recreational services.

Meanwhile, the Union Minister has assured to grant financial help to fund these schemes on a pilot basis across the state.
