Arunachal: Hillarians assist flood-affected school in Sigar

The Hillarians Group - a group of students of the 1982 batch from IGJ Govt. Hr. Sec. School Pasighat recently visited one of the worst flood-affected areas in Arunachal Pradesh, namely Sigar Village under Mebo Sub-Division, and donated Rs. 61,000 to the Govt. Pry. School Sigar under the theme ‘We care and share.’

The recent flooding of the Siang River had washed away the school, and according to the Hillarians, it saddened them in learning about the condition and situation of the students.

The group of Hillarians includes former Education Minister Bosiram Siram, Dy. Director of School Education, East Siang District, Jongge Yirang, former Minister/MLA Roding Pertin and others.
