Second nationwide mock drill on COVID-19 vaccination kicks off across India

NEW DELHI:

The second nationwide mock drill on the COVID-19 vaccination is being held today (January 8) at three-session sites of 736 districts across 33 States and Union Territories.

The mock drill aims to simulate the actual vaccine administration event.

The mock drill on the COVID-19 vaccination will familiarise the state, district, block and hospital-level officers on all aspects of COVID-19 vaccination rollout.

Meanwhile, the Centre has said that the vaccination for COVID-19 is voluntary.

However, it is advisable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine for protecting oneself and limiting the spread of the disease.
