Sanjeev Rajput & Tejaswini Sawant win gold in ISSF World Cup

Sanjeev Rajput and Tejaswini Sawant bagged gold in the 50-metre Rifle 3 Positions Mixed Team event at the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup on Friday.

“Many congratulations to @sanjeevrajput1 & @Tejaswini1280 on winning 50m rifle 3 positions mixed First place medal in @ISSF_Shooting World Cup while the team of #SunidhiChauhan and #AishwaryPratapSinghTomar won the Third place medal. Way to go #TeamIndia!” Sports Authority of India (SAI) tweeted.

"Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day. Won the gold medal in the 50m 3P Mixed Team event with Tejaswini Sawant," tweeted Sanjeev Rajput.

Earlier on Thursday, Manu Bhaker, Rahi Sarnobat, and Chinki Yadav won gold after defeating Poland 17-7 in the final.

Anjum Moudgil, Gaayatri Nithyandam, and Shreya Saksenaon won silver after losing to Poland 43-47 in the 50m rifle 3 positions.

Chinky Yadav also bagged gold in the women’s 25m pistol event on Wednesday. (With inputs from ANI)
