IndiGo airport manager shot dead in Patna

NEW DELHI:

IndiGo airline's airport manager Rupesh Singh was found dead outside his residence in Patna. The deceased was shot dead by unknown miscreants on Tuesday evening.

Sources said that the airline industry confirmed the incident and said it is "extremely saddened by the demise of our Patna airport manager."

According to sources, Singh was returning from duty on Tuesday evening when he was shot numerous times outside his residence.

It further added, "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. We are in contact with his family and providing them with our full support while cooperating with the relevant authorities in the ongoing investigation."

Singh leaves behind his wife and two children.
