Indian Army hands over Chinese PLA soldier

The Indian Army, on Tuesday evening, handed over the Chinese soldier to the People's Liberation Army (PLA) at the Chushul Moldo meeting point.

Indian Army sources confirmed that the soldier, identified as Corporal Wang Ya Long, was handed over to China after completion of all formalities.

According to earlier reports, the "disoriented" PLA soldier had supposedly trespassed onto the Indian side and was apprehended by Indian troops on Monday.

He was later given the necessary medical assistance in light of his condition.
