Fire breaks out in Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express

DEHRADUN:

A fire broke out in one compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express in Uttarakhand’s Kansro area on Saturday.

“The fire broke out in compartment number C-4 because of a short circuit,” Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said.

“All passengers were safely evacuated, and no injuries have been reported so far,” he said.

“Further investigation is on,” he added.
