SRINAGAR:

LT Gen B.S Raju, Chinar Corps Commander and Army personnel of all ranks, paid homage to the courageous soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice on November 13, 2020, in North Kashmir in a heartfelt ceremony on Sunday.

The Army paid tribute to Havildar Hardhan Chandra Roy (38), Naik Satai Bhushan Rameshrao (28), Gunner Subodh Ghosh (22) and Sepoy Jondhale Rushikesh Ramchandra (20) at Badami Bagh Cantonment.

On November 13, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked Ceasefire Violations, where they received multiple splinter injuries.

They were provided immediate medical aid and evacuated to a nearest military medical facility but later succumbed to their injuries.

The Army will take the remains of the fallen soldiers to their native places for their last rites, accompanied with full military honours.

“In this hour of grief, the Army stands in solidarity with these bereaved families and remains committed to their dignity and well-being,” stated an Army press release.
