Meghalaya: Citizens pay tribute to Archbishop Dominic Jala on first death anniversary

It has been one year since the tragic demise of Archbishop Dominic Jala and Catholics across the city observed the solemn occasion by paying tribute to the late Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Shillong.

A Holy Mass was held at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians in Laitumkhrah and was attended by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.

Archbishop Jala passed away in a car accident at Colusa County in California, USA, on October 10, 2019.

He rendered his service as a priest for around 42 years.
