BAGHDAD:

An Iraq Court, on Thursday, issued an arrest warrant for Donald Trump in connection with the killing of Iranian General Qassim Suleimani and Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis last year.

A judge in Baghdad’s investigative court issued the warrant for Trump’s arrest under Article 406 of the penal code, which serves out the death penalty in all cases of premeditated murder.

On January 3, 2020, a United States drone strike near Baghdad International Airport and the White House put out a statement saying the strike was a decisive defensive action carried out at the direction of the President.
