Elon Musk to donate USD 100 million for best carbon capture technology

Centi-billionaire Elon Musk recently tweeted that he would donate USD 100 million (approximately Rs. 730 crores) to whoever comes up with the best technology to capture carbon dioxide emissions.

“Am donating $100M towards a prize for best carbon capture technology” Musk tweeted.

He also mentioned that he would provide the details next week.

This tweet, however, has received mixed reactions with some responding to his tweet by saying “Plant more trees.”
