NEW DELHI: Alibaba founder Jack Ma made a public appearance months after his disappearance from public platforms since October 2020.

Ma made his latest public appearance at a gathering of teachers in an online forum on Wednesday.

The conference was part of an annual award ceremony for teachers working to educate the rural population.

The business tycoon's disappearance also drew speculations over possibilities of him being intimidated by the Chinese government, after his anti-government remark in Shanghai conference.
