Nagaland all set to host plastic-free Hornbill Festival

The Government of Nagaland is all set to host the upcoming Hornbill festival starting from 1st December at 4 pm with Governor R. N. Ravi agreeing to be the chief host and Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio as the host.

Addressing the media, Advisor, Tourism & Art & Culture, Khehovi Yepthomi said, Hornbill festival is a unit platform for the tourist to witness the cultural diversity in Nagaland. Every year the celebration get better and drawing the attention and recognition both domestic and international tourist.

He highlighted about the various activities which will be organised during the Hornbill Festival at Kisama.

Director, Tourism, Akhale V. KhKham said the festival will witness total ban on single use plastic to create a plastic free environment.
