Meghalaya reports 115 new COVID-19 cases: tally rises to 10,202

SHILLONG (PTI):

Meghalaya's COVID-19 tally rose to 10,202 on Sunday as 155 more people tested positive for the infection, a senior health department official said.

The new cases were reported from East Khasi Hills district (69), Ri Bhoi (61), West Garo Hills (11), East Garo Hills (7), South Garo Hills (5) and West Jaintia Hills district (2), he said.

The COVID-19 death toll in the state remained at 93 as no fresh fatality was reported in the state, War said.

A total of 2.12 lakh samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, he added. (PTI)
