Tripura’s first covid 19 patient discharged from hospital

Tripura's first COVID-19 patient has been discharged from AGMC and GBP Hospital today.
The 35-year-old woman is a resident of Udaipur in Tripura. She was tested positive covid-19 on April 6 and was admitted in the AGMC and GBP Hospital in the state.
Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb said the first covid-19 positive patient has been discharged as she had recovered and was found negative in the consecutive tests.
He said that she has been sent for institutional quarantine for 14 days under medical supervision.
In a social media post, he said;
"Glad to share that first #COVID19 positive patient of Tripura has been discharged today, as she has recovered & found negative in consecutive tests
She has been sent for institutional quarantine for 14 days under medical supervision at Udaipur.
I Pray to Mata Tripurasundari so that State turns Corona free soon."
It may be mentioned that a 32-year-old person was also tested positive for coronavirus in Tripura on April 10. The patient hails from Madhya Pradesh and currently staying at Damcherra. The person had traveled in a train along with a person who was earlier tested positive for covid-19.
Earlier, seventeen people were quarantined after coming in contact with the lone COVID-19 patient in Tripura, they were all tested negative for coronavirus.
