Sikkim records 49 fresh cases of COVID-19

GANGTOK | SEPT 16, 2020:

Sikkim recorded 49 fresh cases of COVID-19, on Tuesday.

Out of the 49 new positive cases, 38 are from East Sikkim, five each from South and North Sikkim, and one from West Sikkim.

Eight persons are admitted in the ICU of Sir Thutob Namgyal Memorial (STNM) hospital.

The total number of cases so far in the state stands at 2222, with 513 active cases and 19 fatalities.
