Former Tripura CM extends financial support to tackle COVID-19

AGARTALA | AUGUST 29, 2020:

Former Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar advised Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb on how to tackle the financial crunch caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, on Friday.

While addressing media persons, Sarkar said that the opposition would extend support and even give the MLAs schemes for tackling the financial crunch caused by the pandemic.

While he added that the Chief Minister has also received funds from the centre, stressing that it should be used judiciously to fight the COVID crisis.
