The Nagaland Directorate of School Education (DSE) has clarified on the re-opening of schools in the state after rumours of the department's notification on the issue were doing the rounds on social media, creating confusion among the general public.

DSE Principal Director, Shanavas C on Tuesday said, it has been brought to the notice of the department that unauthorised information regarding re-opening of schools in the State for classes 9 to 12 from October is being circulated on social media.

The pamphlet being circulated on social media is a piece of rough work created with dummy dates for discussion at higher level and is not an authorized or approved Departmental notification, said the senior official.

He has advised all concerned not to circulate the 'unauthorised pamphlet' and also not to be misled by such unauthorised information.
