Facts you need to know about PM Narendra Modi, on his birthday!

FACTS | Sept 17, 2020:

#Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in a Gujarati family in Vadnagar. Since childhood, he would always help his family by assisting his father sell tea at the local railway station as a child.

#At a very young age of eight, Modi had found out about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He started attending the lectures or training sessions, where he met Lakshmanrao Inamdar, who became his mentor after inducting him as a junior cadet in the RSS.

#In the year 1967, he completed his schooling and completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1978. He earned a Master's degree from Gujarat University in 1982.

#Modi is a firm follower of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and has often described visiting ashrams founded by Vivekananda: the Belur Math, Advaita Ashrama and the Ramakrishna Mission.

#Modi was ranked 15th in the year 2014 by the Forbes Magazine list of most powerful people. He was ranked the Person of the Year by Time magazine in the same year. He has been included in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
